Power
The NSW Monitoring and Evaluation Programme component 1.7 deals with the requirements governing a rule strategy for integration with the electricity grid.
Learning objectives
- Characterising production and integration: to be able to forecast the impact of offshore wind farms on the electricity grid, for aspects such as power quality and grid stability, as well as the interaction with the electricity grid.
- Short-term forecast farm capacity: provide insight into the possibilities of the use of short-term forecast systems for the farm capacity (potential economic value, reliability) by farm management.
- Optimal electrical infrastructure: provide insight into the characteristic design aspects of the electrical infrastructure for offshore wind farms.
