Maintenance

The NSW Monitoring and Evaluation Programme component 1.6 deals with the requirements governing a maintenance strategy (strategic aspects).

Learning objectives

• Integral methodology maintenance: provide insight into the value of the use of Life Cycle Cost Management (LCCM) methodologies, as well as their improvement and continued development, depending on the phase in the life cycle of the offshore wind farms. LCCM must be applied to the various phases in the life cycle of the NSW and to the provision of relevant information.
• Increase reliability: optimising maintenance with an eye on increasing the operational safety of offshore wind farms. Periodic analysis and updating of the maintenance plans are required.
