Construction

The NSW Monitoring and Evaluation Programme component 1.4 deals with the serial installation and operation of offshore wind turbines. This item includes aspects such as the construction, installation and logistics process and a risk inventory.

Learning objectives

• Optimising the organisation of the logistics process in the construction and installation of offshore wind farms by supplying information on experience in and time spent on the construction and installation process, in comparison to planning.
• Reliably estimating the financial risks of offshore wind farms, in terms of costs and yields, by supplying an overall financial risk inventory and risk evaluation of the NSW (costs and yield), both as component of the project plan and in the form of periodic updates.
