Waste Management Department
The Waste Management Department implements programmes, subsidy schemes and national and international regulations relating to waste. It also advises on the preparation and evaluation of waste policy.
The Waste Management Department is a centre of expertise for waste, where authorities and companies can go for information, financial support and permits.

Helpdesk Waste Department
Our helpdesk answers questions from authorities and businesses concerning the implementation of waste policy. The helpdesk deals mainly with the following subjects:
- Legislation and regulation
- Implementing decisions
- Cross-border shipments of waste
- Prevention and separation of waste
- Litter
- Subsidies
