communities.

Objective
and description:
|
The Islamic Development Bank participates
in equity financing and grants loans for projects and enterprises. It also
provides financial assistance to member countries for economic and social
development. The bank is required to establish and operate special funds for
specific purposes, including a fund for assistance to Muslim communities in non-member
countries.
The Islamic Development Bank provides:
- project financing;
- trade financing;
- special assistance: assistance to Muslim communities in
non-member countries in the areas of education and health;
- scholarship programmes;
- technical cooperation.
