Report A strategy on climate-neutral fuels. Recommendations for the Dutch Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment (VROM)

Summary

CO2 emissions from the transport sector continue to rise. If this tide is to be turned, all the available options to reduce them will eventually be needed, such as ‘climate-neutral’ fuels. However, before any truly significant percentage of the fossil fuels burned in motor vehicles is replaced by these kinds of fuels, major efforts will have to be expended. Against this background the Dutch Ministry of Dutch Ministry of Housing, Social Planning and the Environment (VROM) commissioned CE Delft to draw up a series of recommendations for a robust medium-term government strategy on climate-neutral fuels.
