Report Biofuels production via HTU and pyrolysis 2GAVE-05-07

Summary

Hydrothermal upgrading and pyrolysis are two technologies that are being developed in the Netherlandsand which could eventually produce biofuels. This report assesses the potential contribution of these technologies to introducing biofuels to the Dutch transportation sector. The report covers the feedstock potential for these technologies in the Netherlands, the suitability of the fuels as (blending component in) diesel, the environmental performance, and the associated costs.
