Development of underwater flora- and fauna communities on hard substrates of the offshore wind farm Egmond aan Zee (OWEZ)

Bureau Waardenburg was commissioned to describe the colonisation of hard substrates within the OWEZ. For this purpose, a qualitative assessment (species composition and covering percentages) and quantitative assessment (numbers and biomasses of species present) at three different turbines in February 2008 (end of winter situation) and September 2008 (end of summer situation) was carried out. This report presents the results of February and September and includes a comparison of both assessments.
